St Patricks Day!
There's only one place to be on St Patricks Day (Thursday March 17th) and that's here at Subside for our St Patricks Day Party! We'll have Guinness, Magners, Jamesons & Baileys on offer throughout the night to get you in the mood and pints of Green Lager for you to down as well!
On top of all this we'll be giving away a 'Pot O Gold' in our special St Patricks Day treasure trail. Simply listen to the clues from the world's biggest leprechaun (DJ Jim!) between 9.00pm-11.30pm and work out where the 'Pot O Gold' is to get a nice shiny prize! 

Roman Toga Party!
We're holding our Roman Toga Party on Friday March 25th at Subside and to help you get all Caesared we'll have Peroni, Amaretto and everybody's favourite shot Sambuca on special offer throughout the night!
We'll give free admission to anybody in a Toga or Roman dress and we'll be giving away free pizza snacks during the night!
We'll also have a 'Leaning Tower Of Subside' giant jenga competition for great alcohol prizes!

The Very Good Friday Party!
The double weekend of Bank Holiday celebrations starts right here at our Very Good Friday party on Friday April 22nd at Subside!
We'll have our own special Easter Egg Hunt for an egg-stravagant prize. We'll have Creme Egg Shots and JP's famous Egg-Nogs on sale throughout the night to get you in an egg-stra party mood.
On top of this (and probably most importantly for you) we'll also have pints of Carling & Olde English at £2.00 a pint, bottles of Hobgoblin at just £2.00 and any flavour of VS Vodka Ice for just £1.00 all night long to keep some pennies in your pocket for all these bank holiday specials! 

St Georges Day Party!
The long good bank holiday weekend continues with our St Georges Day party on Saturday April 23rd! Anybody with an England top or patriotic dress on will be allowed in for free all night long. Plus we'll have traditionally English pints of Carling & Olde English at £2.00 a pint, bottles of Hobgoblin at just £2.00 and any flavour of VS Vodka Ice for just £1.00 all night long!

Royal Wedding Special - God Save The Queen Punk 'n' Ska Party!
We're gonna be celebrating this extra special Royal bank holiday on Friday April 29th in true Subside style with our very own 'God Save The Queen Punk 'n' Ska Party'! You'll get a right royal mix of anything punk, ska, pop-punk, emo, etc, throughout the night from DJ's Big Jim & Andy.
We'll have our very own King & Queen of Subside competition during the night along with free tiaras for  a round of drinks and to get you in the mood we'll have an extra special 'Royal Wedding Cocktail' and our God Save The Queen drinking game!
So, come along and help William & Kate celebrate in true style on this special day!

Sundays:
Subside is closed on Sundays to allow our staff and customers to recuperate from what is always a hectic Saturday night party!

Mondays:
In a band? Want a gig? Now’s your chance to play at Subside, Birmingham’s rock & alternative bar! Subside will be holding gigs for local bands and are looking for bands of any type that falls into the rock & alternative genres to play. You must have your own backline  equipment (drums, amps, cabs!) and/or be willing to kit share with another band due to lack of stage space but it’s your chance to play at the fast becoming legendary Subside and propel you on the road to superstardom…..! Well maybe anyway… So, if you want to play with your band at Subside then drop us an e-mail to SubsideBar@aol.com with ‘My Band Wants To Play Subside’ in the subject line, enclose your name, band name, type of music (so we can match you up with someone suitable) and very importantly a contact telephone number and we’ll then arrange a date for you to come play at the bar. Alternatively, speak to Ian (Manager) or Steve (Assistant Manager) in person on your next visit to Subside. Please note all shows at Subside will be FREE entry for your friends and fans. Come on then! Show us what you’ve got! Check the forum for upcoming shows and details of who is playing at Subside this week then come along and check the bands out totally free!

Tuesdays:
Our unique ‘U2DJ’ system where every customer is the DJ for the night. Every time you buy a drink you get the chance to request a song. Our super Subside bar staff will enter your song choice into a computer and it will come up automatically on the playlist displayed above the bar.  In turn your tune will get aired and you’ll be able to see when it’s coming up and make sure you don’t miss it! Limited to one song request per drink purchased. A nice and relaxed start to the week to put you in the right mood for the coming week of work, college, university or holiday! 5.00pm till midnight with weekly drinks offers!

Wednesdays:
Our resident DJ’s will be entertaining you with all the best in rock and alternative tunes. 5.00pm-12.00midnight.

Thursdays:
Downstairs: Our unique ‘U2DJ’ system as per Tuesdays. 5.00pm till midnight!

Fridays:
The whole bar will be rocking to the tunes played by our rotating resident DJ’s so that you never get bored by the mix of rock, metal, punk, ska, indie & alternative anthems old and new that will be blasting out each and every week! 5.00pm till 6.00am. Admission £4 after 10.30pm, £5.00 after midnight with a discount for members which includes a free drink from our selected lines.

Saturdays:
The perfect warm up to Subculture, or a more intimate way to pass the night as our whole bar is assaulted by our rotating resident DJ’s mix of rock, metal, punk, ska, indie & alternative tunes and the latest releases on our HD widescreen TVs. 5.00pm till 6.00am. Admission £4 after 10.30pm, £5.00 after midnight with a discount for members which includes a free drink from our selected lines.
